This story is screwed up on a bunch of different levels but nothing beats the idiots laughing at the 1:38 mark of this video.
I hope all of those animals have this on their conscience the rest of their lives...

I agree, sickening. I just read about shots being fired in a Southern California Toys R Us. 2 Rival gangs started shooting, 2 died. That's so crazy. Kids were there and everything.

Heather Cox asks Boise's coach Chris Peterson at halftime about how his decision to start a backup QB for senior day resulted in a Pick-6 and "put his team in the hole"...

Is my TV on the fritz or is the field for Boise State vs Fresno State actually blue? If so, why? And why is that game on WFAN? Can they get a "Best of Heyman Scoops" show?

Was at MSG today for Oklahomer/Purdue.

Blake Griffin will be a stud in the NBA. He reminds me a lot of Carlos Boozer. Oklahomer won in OT.

The consolation game featured Boston College and UAB. BC has a guard, Tyrese Rice who will also play in the NBA. ALL ACC last year, dropped 46 on North Carolina.

All-in-all a very enjoyable day and I am happy college hoops is back!

I was wrapped up in the giving my daughter a bath scenario, and I turn it on and see it's 2-0 Rangers. Two seconds later, Florida scores. May need to turn it off to avoid being the jinx.

Perhaps one of our board members is in Newark for the Legends Classic. All in all, a good group of teams in the area today...

the thing is they wont. if they had a conscience they wouldnt have laughed about this and cracked jokes and i use the term jokes very loosely here) in the first place.

s*it like this is why i avoid shopping today. some people are animals and theyll do anything to save a few extra bucks on an item...i got into a debate with my cousin about the disadvantages of going to woodbury commons at midnight on Thanksgiving at the dinner table yesterday...I am against all of this stuff...it's like putting 30 eddie curry's at an all-you-can eat buffet and saying the trays wont be refilled...it's guaranteed complete chaos.

My prayers to the man who died's family. 34 is such a young age to go.

Yeah, I was hoping for Arizona and St Johns instead of UAB and BC, but the games were good, which is all I care about.

Coaches vs Cancer has two good games too, Ill be in the building for that. The games at the Rock are good too. I "didnt hear the interview" but i know Mike had on Pat Knight on Wednesday. What could he possibly know about Texas Tech basketball to conduct that interview?

Fortunately it lasted only about ten minutes. He knew they put up 165 points a couple of weeks ago, other than that, nothing. Really, the only thing to know about Texas Tech basketball is that Sheryl Swoopes dropped 47 on Ohio State in that '93 championship game...

Any mention of the Darwin Hamm backboard breaking scenario vs UNC?

I know Texas Tech basketball has a pretty pitiful history, but if Mike were good he would have dedicated a good part of the interview to Knight's playing days at Indiana under his father and then gone into the current state of affairs at Texas Tech. That's my opinion.

EDIT: BELOW

(handwave) to myself here. i just renembered i heard the first minute of the interview...

Mike: Coach, ya Raidiz team scored uh hundred and sixty the othah night...ya musta hit a lota threes.

Knight: um no we only hit 8......

And the Ranger game is out of control. 3-2 and maybe 4-2.

We go from Sam telling us it's 4-2 to it only being 3-2 and Florida having a 5 on 3. Hopefully they are equally inept with the 2-main advantage as the Rangers.

When Lundqvist is your best penalty killa' you always have a chance to kill them off.

Very true. Unfortunately, he's our best player on the power play, too.

What a sloppy power play. Way too much finesse at the blue line and not enough shooting it in and going to get it. And, Dubinsky with a careless blind pass in his own zone. King bailed him out.

That should be a penalty against FL. Their player hit the puck over the glass from the defensive zone with his hand. Penalty.

That was a brutal play. I have a feeling this is going to a shootout.
