Did the Digital Wizards at WFAN die of boredom. Attention to Fat Mike, your station has a crap website, the worst in the business, it is not even run by WFAN but it was pawned off to CBS Local.

According to Mike Francesa digital wizards at WFAN invented it and Mike Francesa tweaked it.

WFAN has digital wizards?! The WFAN website is one of the worst websites on the internet, let alone websites that cover radio stations. Mike Francesa's show still doesn't offer daily podcasts.

These digital wizards must be hiding but we are to believe they are going to unveil a product that nobody in the business has invented yet and after the premiere, everybody in the business will follow.

Yeah right, will Mike Francesa unveil it with a Steve Jobs like production.

Update 9/29/11:
I'm pretty certain that Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos did not include WFAN and Mike Francesa's revolutionary digital project in his keynote address yesterday, it was just the Amazon Kindle Fire and Kindle Touch.

CAN somebody call the station and ask Mike about his revolutionary digital project.

I figured it would be streaming the YES feed to cell phones. Guess he went public with this a little early, like Girardi being on his show every day during the season.

If not that they must have been working on an Auto-Tune type program to remove the buffalo balls from his mouth. They probably ran into trouble when it couldn't do anything w/ "miyuns" and "noyne".

Wait, **** I just figured it out. Mike just talking about first guessing got me thinking, "how could he prove that? He just blowing smoke up our asses," and it dawned on me what his revolutionary concept was and what went wrong:

He was going to Tweet commentary during the Yankee games, but Ro (his wife and digital wizard) couldn't figure out how to sign up for a twitter account.

Well, he gave the hint that people should go out and get an Iphone, so I'm thinking they are going to have callers and guests on via Face Time/ Webcam. Looking to get it running by Dec 1.

We all know that Mike has a history of exaggeration and since his only contact with technology seems to be his Steve Jobs biography and his Iphone, I'm sure this is going to be a big let down.

The nature of a sports talk radio show does not allow much room for technology to enhance it. Will there be a live Twitter stream or some sort of way for the fans to comment on his show in real time, big deal. Will we see Al in White Plains via Skype, I'm pretty sure nobody cares.

I'm still waiting for what was promised twenty years ago. The ability to choose camera angles while watching an NFL game. It is amazing to me how only the Sunday night games get enhanced camera coverage. Do the networks not make enough money to have that coverage on Sunday afternoon games? But in the 90's, we heard big talk that fans would get interactive television, so far it hasn't happened.

But one thing I'm certain about, there is nothing interactive that will enhance the Mike Francesa radio show. Maybe it will be a live video stream from an Iphone, again no big deal.
