I posted this in the other one, but it is worth re-posting I think.

"The idea that....." or "This idea that......" Then Mike proceeds to enlighten us as to what is wrong with a common or popular theory in a newspaper column or something said by a TV sports announcer or pre/post game host.

This is sort of a Fatcessa-ism, but it's more his facial expression than what he's saying. When they're doing their patented run down of remaining games, and counting them off as wins and losses, Mike gets this really serious look on his face and kind of squints his eyes and leans forward in his chair. It's as if he's getting ready to perform brain surgery. This is especially the case when he's forecasting the future of his now beloved Cowboys.

lets also add the way he runs his four fingers (no thumb) thru the sides of his hair to "adjust" it, meanwhile he uses more AquaNet than my deceased grandmother.

A similar facial expression is shown when running through a player's career (MLB) and gets either a Yes or No for Hall of Fame consideration.

"this game will have EENAWMUS ramifications"
"this game will have EENAWMUS implications"
-strange how "enormous" has no "r" in mf's world but "atlanta" is "atlanter"

"I could have (fill in the blank)....

Whether it be tackled him/thrown that pass/hit that ball, I love when Mike does that, because he can't.

How about the use of "under the bus" as in Tiki threw the coach under the bus.. fatso must have said it at least ten times when he and russo were ripping the Giants.

when he describes people wh oare excited or would do anythign to get a certain game he says they would "do a conga line"

or when a team plays a soft schedule he says they played the "sisters of the poor"

You've got that right, Bob. He did repeat it about ten times - in a FIVE minute span. He's had a growing tendency to do this, and I believe other posters have suggested that it could be a sign that senility is beginning to creep in.

I don't recall other examples offhand, but often when Mike makes what he considers to be a salient point, he will beat the damn thing like a drum.

Does he still use the expression "Back up the truck", when describing the need for a sports franchise to start over? He was using that expression incessantly to describe the state of the Knicks during the 1999-2000 season. Of course, they proved him wrong by catching lightning in a bottle, getting the 8th seed and going to the finals.

This is one of many Fatcessa-isms that is a direct result of Mike emulating his boyfriend. When speaking of opponents during a press conference, Parcells will say things like "The tight end can really hurt you." or "Number 33 can really run the ball."

Mike obviously thinks this is cool. Hence, when referring to LSU's JaMarcus Russell, he'll say "The quarterback can really throw the ball. He's very underrated." Or, just a little while ago when talking about Kenny Britt, "Numba 88 has really become Rutgiz big play threat."

mike usually has new football terminology hes learned probably from parcells during the summer that he uses every year, like last year he talked about the colts flex offense being unstoppable

this year i guess bill didnt teach him any new words because mikes take on teams schemes now are "they do allot of different things"

do they mike?
